First Visit

During your first visit, we will address your concerns, review your dental and medical history, take the necessary and appropriate x-rays of your teeth and evaluate the health of your gums and bone support around your teeth.  Dr. Mergen will examine your teeth, review your x-rays and provide an oral cancer screening.  Once we have gathered this important information we will discuss with you our findings and create your own individual treatment plan.

We will listen to your desires and concerns.  No two people are alike, and neither are any two smiles.  We want to get to know you, find out what your specific goals are and help you make informed choices in order to make a decision on treatment that works best for you.

If time permits and it is appropriate based on your dental needs, one of our hygienists may clean your teeth, or begin this treatment based upon the condition of your teeth and gums.  Some individuals may need additional visits to appropriately clean their teeth based on the condition of their gums.
